Jungkook achieved 12 million album sales (EAS) with his solo debut album ’GOLDEN.’ Since its release in November 2023, the album’s cumulative sales have reached 12 million, with an additional 2 million sold since 10 million in September last year. ’GOLDEN’ has been streamed over 6.2 billion times on Spotify and appeared on the ’Weekly Top Albums Global’ chart for 153 weeks. It charted for 25 weeks on the Billboard main album chart ’Billboard 200’ and for 8 weeks on the UK Official main album chart ’Top 100.’ On Apple Music, it stayed on the ’Worldwide Albums’ chart and the ’European Albums’ chart for more than 620 days and 530 days, respectively. Last year, it recorded sales of 8.4 million among debut albums by male artists worldwide released in the past decade. The album was included in Rolling Stone’s ’Best Music of 2023,’ MTV’s ’Record-Breaking Albums of 2023,’ and The New York Times and Uproxx’s ’Best Albums of 2023’ lists.
