Seo Hyun-jin will play Kang Ji-sun, who insists on the truth, and lead the drama's tension.'The Liar' depicts the story of two men and women who make completely opposite claims about a single memory, fiercely clashing in pursuit of the truth. It is also drawing attention as a project where Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin, who co-starred in the 2016 SBS drama 'Dr. Romantic', will work together for the first time in 10 years.Seo Hyun-jin takes on the role of Kang Ji-sun, a woman who insists on the truth. As an elementary school librarian, she was living a stable daily life when she enjoyed her first date with Min Joon-ho (played by Yoo Yeon-seok), who brought her excitement after a long time. However, after the seemingly perfect meeting, her life begins to be shaken to its core by an unexpected incident. The work depicts the tense confrontation between Min Joon-ho and Kang Ji-sun under the premise that 'one of the two protagonists is lying'. Since neither character can be easily distinguished as good or evil, it is expected to make viewers constantly question whose claim is the truth.Seo Hyun-jin said, "I discussed with the director how much to show at important points in every scene from episode 1 to 12," adding, "'The Liar' can be divided into three chapters. Episodes 1-4, 5-8, and 9-12. I hope that as the flow changes in each chapter, viewers can newly suspect who is actually lying."Finally, he encouraged viewership by saying, "We filmed intensely with the actors and staff. I really hope you will like our drama."'The Liar', consisting of a total of 12 episodes, will premiere on the 30th at 9:50 PM.subin7134@tf.co.kr[Entertainment Department | ssent@tf.co.kr]
