IU releases new song 'From This Star' today (10th) after one year... 'Dear my crazy soulmate' MV teaser revealed

IU will release the new song ″From This Star″ on the 10th at 6 PM through various music platforms. This digital single includes two songs, ″From This Star″ and ″Dear my crazy soulmate,″ both of which are known to have been written by IU personally. These new songs are part of the tracks to be included in the 6th full-length album, marking the first new release in a year since ″Bye, Summer,″ which was released last September. At midnight on the 10th, a teaser video for the ″Dear my crazy soulmate″ music video was first released on IU’s official SNS channels. The video features IU dressed as a police officer and Sim Dal-gi, showing a moment when a glass window breaks during an everyday scene, with both showing similar expressions and movements. Then, through the broken glass, Kim Young-ok appears, reaching out to the two, followed by a scene where handcuffs are placed on his wrist. The full music video for ″Dear my crazy soulmate″ will be released at 6 PM on the same day along with the song. The music video for the other title track, ″From This Star,″ will be released at midnight on the 16th. Meanwhile, IU originally planned to release the 6th full-length album after a solo concert at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in September, but all schedules were temporarily suspended due to symptoms of Guillain-Barré syndrome.
